Manufacturer's product description

The XM1r is the latest edition of the XM1 Gaming Mouse, now available in two new editions and featuring an updated optical PixArt PAW3370 sensor and hand-selected Kailh GM 8.0 switches. It also boasts a hybrid skate design and a completely new firmware and software developed in Germany.

Patented Analog Technology
To precisely detect clicks, the XM1r uses its patented analog technology, going beyond traditional signal debouncing. This method is far superior to digital approaches. While digital signal processing can only detect two feedback stages (1/0), the analog method of the XM1r uses an advanced algorithm for faster click detection of under 1 ms.

Built for Tournament Performance
Like its predecessors, the XM1r was developed by esports veterans for competitive gaming. It features a sleek and durable case design with high-end components such as the PixArt PAW3370 sensor and hand-selected Kailh GM 8.0 switches. The firmware and software have been completely redeveloped in Germany to maximize the performance of the XM1r.

Groundbreaking Sensor
The responsiveness of the XM1r is significantly improved by the use of the PixArt PAW3370 sensor, with a resolution of up to 19,000 CPI, 1 mm lift-off distance, and up to 400 IPS. Every last bit of performance has been squeezed from the sensor. All smoothing, angle snapping, and power-saving features are disabled, making the sensor’s tracking data especially accurate.

Advanced Switches and Technology
For the main buttons of the XM1r, special Kailh GM 8.0 switches were used. These were hand-selected to provide a consistent actuation force of 55 to 60 gf, ensuring extremely pleasant and fast click feedback. The TTC micro switches of the side buttons have also been improved to offer a crisper click feel and better durability.

Hybrid Skate Design
The XM1r comes with PTFE skates in two different sizes, with the small skates pre-mounted as standard. Thanks to the hybrid design of the lower shell, both large and small mouse skates can be installed. This provides additional flexibility in personalizing the gliding properties of the XM1r.

New Colors, Same Excellent Design
In addition to the classic color variants black and white, the XM1r is available in two new editions. The Dark Frost and Dark Reflex variants both have a dark, semi-transparent case. Dark Reflex features a glossy surface, while Dark Frost opts for a matte finish.
The mouse cable has also been optimized. The Flex Cord is as flexible as in the previous version, but significantly more durable.
